Education Through Music-Los Angeles puts music back into inner-city schools as part of the core curriculum for every child, where it belongs. Education Through Music-LA is serving nearly 12,000 students with weekly, yearlong music instruction. Music has the power to transform the lives of children and their communities, and to provide them with such lifelong benefits including self-confidence, problem-solving skills, teamwork, perseverance, concentration, and motivation to stay in school. Lineage Dance and Performing Arts Center is a nonprofit arts organization that creates dance performance, provides arts education, nonprofit support, arts production infrastructure, dance classes for persons with movement challenges, and more.
The orchestra’s mission is: through live performances and its stimulating music education programs, to share the beauty and inspiration of classical music with Southern California audiences, giving special focus to Latino communities that are underserved and underrepresented by the arts. The orchestra has developed a dynamic program for making music more accessible to everyone.
Angels Gate Cultural Center brings art and culture to the community through interactive classes, gallery exhibits of both local and international artists, professional artists’ studios, art education programs in the schools, and cultural events.
Create Now is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization that gives youth opportunities to find their voices through arts mentoring and education. We especially serve children ages 2-21 who have been abused, neglected, homeless, domestic violence victims, incarcerated, etc. by matching them with artists, writers, musicians, actors, dancers and others, including mentors who teach life skills. Create Now provides training and materials to implement therapeutic programs in music, writing, visual arts, performing arts, fashion and digital media at 100+ partner agencies, like shelters and group homes.
Inner-City Arts' mission is to engage young people in the creative process in order to shape a society of creative, confident and collaborative individuals. We provide arts classes and workshops for school-aged children, classroom teachers and school administrators.
Established in 1979, we are the only artist-founded museum in Los Angeles. We are dedicated to collecting and exhibiting contemporary art. We house one of the most compelling collections of contemporary art in the world, comprising roughly 7000 objects, and have a diverse history of ground-breaking, historically-significant exhibitions.

Theatre Of Hearts, Inc. was founded as a nonprofit corporation in 1987 to promote understanding between people through cultural and artistic forums and to empower local communities through education in the arts. In the wake of civil unrest in Los Angeles in 1992, Theatre Of Hearts initiated our Youth First Artist-In-Residence (AIR) Program. Our mission is to prevent and intervene in youth violence by involving underserved, at-risk youth, ages 4-18, in long-term high quality, multidisciplinary, standards-based arts educational workshops throughout Los Angeles County.
