Rogue Artists Ensemble is a collective of multi-disciplinary artists who create Hyper-theater, an innovative hybrid of theater traditions, puppetry, mask work, dance, music, and modern technology. Through a collaborative development process, with an emphasis on design and storytelling, the Rogues create original, thought-provoking performances. We cultivate unique audience experiences that appeal to multiple generations of theatergoers in order to expand the boundaries of contemporary American theater.

Lineage Dance and Performing Arts Center is a nonprofit arts organization that creates dance performance, provides arts education, nonprofit support, arts production infrastructure, dance classes for persons with movement challenges, and more.

The Unusual Suspects Theatre Company (US) is a recognized leader in the fields of arts education, mentorship and community building, having been a thriving force in the underserved neighborhoods of Los Angeles County for over two decades. Our participant-driven theatre-arts programs utilize arts education to mitigate the underlying family and community risk factors that threaten the healthy development of the 1,000+ children and adults we serve annually (90% in grades 5-12), including foster youth and incarcerated minors.

MISSION To elevate, educate, and entertain audiences of all ages by presenting thought-provoking classics, socially relevant plays, and education programs in a beautiful, natural outdoor sanctuary for the arts. By passing on a sense of history to young people and adults alike, great works of art inform their present and inspire their future.

As L.A.’s performing arts center, The Music Center convenes artists, communities and ideas with the goal of deepening the cultural lives of every resident in Los Angeles County. The Music Center provides year-round programming inside The Music Center’s four theatres, on Jerry Moss Plaza, outside at Gloria Molina Grand Park—a 12-acre adjacent green space—in schools and other locations all over Los Angeles County.

Drama Education Network provides standards-based curriculum products, teacher training services, and school residencies in arts and literacy for grades PreK-12. Our mission is to empower educators to use creative drama and theatre arts to create an optimal learning environment in any classroom. We specialize in theatre education, literacy development, and arts integration across the curriculum. Our curriculum program, Drama Works!

artworxLA was founded in 1992 as The HeArt Project to help fill the void in arts education among L.A. inner city youth. Our mission is to combat the epidemic high school dropout crisis with a long-term, sequential arts program offering students a pursuable life path that inspires them to stay in school, evolve as unique individuals and flourish as creative adults.

Our education programs are designed to increase access to live classical theatre and to enhance the classroom learning experience for both teachers and students. The Classics Live! experience includes: tickets at a reduced cost, post-show discussions with the artists, California standards-compliant study guides, and optional in-class workshops. ANW has variety of ways to help you engage your students in the arts!

We impact the creativity of more than 1200 students each year by mentoring them to write their own original stories and seeing them brought to life on stage and film.

Research shows that children who experience quality language oriented activities demonstrate early development of literacy, fluency, and mathematical skills regardless of ethnic or socio-economic background (The Chicago Longitudinal Study, 2011). Studies also show that children who have a rich and varied language arts experience have an easier time mastering reading, comprehending information, developing creativity and increasing critical thinking skills.
