The Symphonic Jazz Orchestra (SJO) believes in the power of music to transform individuals, schools and communities. Created in 2002, the SJO is the only organization of its kind in the country, uniquely dedicated to blending the worlds of jazz and classical music with a mission to inspire and educate through its “Music in the Schools” residency program and free community concerts and to commission and perform symphonic jazz compositions in concerts across Southern California.
YMF’s mission is founded on the belief that every student, every person, should have access to the well- documented lifelong benefits that music and media arts education provide. As communities grapple with the profound social-emotional stress of the pandemic, students need the healing, connection, and stronger sense of self so unique to learning and making music more than ever.
Lineage Dance and Performing Arts Center is a nonprofit arts organization that creates dance performance, provides arts education, nonprofit support, arts production infrastructure, dance classes for persons with movement challenges, and more.
artworxLA was founded in 1992 as The HeArt Project to help fill the void in arts education among L.A. inner city youth. Our mission is to combat the epidemic high school dropout crisis with a long-term, sequential arts program offering students a pursuable life path that inspires them to stay in school, evolve as unique individuals and flourish as creative adults.
Beth Sussman is a Juilliard trained pianist and a Master Teaching Artist with a number of arts organizations including The Los Angeles Music Center. In addition to performing throughout Europe and North America, Beth has devoted much of her time of sharing her love of classical music with young people through both school performances and workshops/residencies.
Inner-City Arts' mission is to engage young people in the creative process in order to shape a society of creative, confident and collaborative individuals. We provide arts classes and workshops for school-aged children, classroom teachers and school administrators.

Since its founding in 1991, P.S. ARTS' purpose has been to ensure high-quality, sustainable arts education for children in under-resourced public schools. Our programs are designed and continuously revised to be in alignment with the needs of the communities we serve, contributing to children's wellbeing and elevating their future school and career prospects. P.S. ARTS was created in response to significant education budget cuts in the 1970s and 1980s that resulted in the near elimination of arts programs in California public schools. Now in its 25th anniversary year, P.S.
SODE School of Performing Arts teaching artists are industry professionals who are passionate instructors, experienced in multiple dance genres, music and performing arts styles. Our goal at SODE School of Performing Arts is to educate, inspire and expose our students to dance, music, language and theater basics in a fun and safe environment.  We believe in encouraging self-expression, creative thinking, and confidence building throughout all of our programs.  SODE School of Performing Arts offers in-school dance programs throughout elementary and middle schools across Los Angeles.
