Education at A Noise Within Theatre bridges the gap between stage and classroom, allowing students and teachers to experience classic theatre in its fullest form - alive on stage. Our beloved field trip program includes: tickets at a reduced cost, post-show discussions with the artists, California standards-compliant study guides, and optional in-class workshops. A Noise Within has variety of ways to help you engage your students in the arts!
Student Programming
Field trips (both school day Student Matinees and evening or weekend visits), in-class workshop programs, study guides, pre-show engagement activities, post-show conversations with actors.
Additional Teen Programming
Teen Leadership Council (year-round), the annual Teen Monologue Festival (fall semester), Theatre Immersion Program (rotating schedule).
Professional Development
The annual Educator Extravaganza occurs every August; this free day of professional development allows local classroom teachers to discover new techniques for English Language Arts and Theatre integration.
