Participants new to TEAL, including classroom teachers, media and technology specialists and administrators are encouraged to attend. Teams of 2–4 are invited, including TEAL trained facilitators. Additional attendees will be considered upon request.
Goals: To provide in-person Professional Development to district and charter school participants; strategies that integrate engaging media arts activities with the K-6 core curriculum.
This PD will include hands-on application of easy-to-access tools that support digital storytelling and media-rich learning throughout the curriculum. Cyber and social media safety and
fair use will also be addressed. Participants will be given access to the online TEAL tools that supplement in-person learning.
